Let me start of by saying that in 2014, I downloaded AutoTweetNG and loved it.  Aparently, I had no problems installing it or configuring it to send tweets and facebook posts.  That old review (that I don't remember writing) prompted me to try it again.  Either lots have changed since 2014 with this piece of software, or my needs have dramatically changed.  One of the two, because my overview of this program is not nearly so glowing.

The Importance of Book Reviews from a Readers Perspective!

The feeling of cracking open a new book that you are excited to read is one that goes unmatched. It is one of the best feelings in the world. Unfortunately, if you are anything like me, sometimes you purchase books based off of the description or author and end up a bit let down once you start digesting the story. It is easy to get sucked in by marketing propaganda and buzz, but your fellow book lovers have no problem spilling the truth. Before you buy, make sure it will satisfy! There are tons of sites and apps out there for sharing your opinions on literature, but some rise above the rest. Here's a list of five book review sites that will not let you down:

Why Microsoft and Windows 10 Suck Major Ass

If you are like me, you’ve had it with Windows 10 and Microsoft, if you aren’t completely fed up with Windows 10, you’re bumping along and willingly allowing Windows 10 to invade your privacy and control your computer and how you use your computer. Let me just state up front that what Windows 10 does is NOT normal. No operating system should be as invasive and virus-like as Windows 10.

Nothing Makes Me Happier Than Deleting Windows 10 (and you should consider it too)

The best advice I can give anyone: Delete Windows 10 or 11 or whatever number they're on and replace it with Linux Mint or really anything else. Buy a Chromebook.

I was talking to my mother a few weeks ago (this article was initially written years ago 2019 probably), and her laptop was giving her fits.  I asked her what was wrong with it.

Doesn't shutdown correctly - You all know the drill.  Do not turn off Windows, it is working on something.

Doesn't Boot Correctly - takes too damned long to boot, even with fastboot on.  And exasperated by the fact that Windows does shit you don't want it too while it is booting.

Windows is Updating - Constantly.  For someone who only uses their computer once a month, Windows is updating always.  This renders the computer unusable, because by the time it's done, you've made alternative plans to use someone else's computer!  Or you've performed the work on your phone, which is up 24/7, but inherently unsafe cause cell phone networks are not exactly secure.

Should I Let Microsoft Continue to Control My Computer?

I can actually add a little update here at the top. This article was originally published 2 or 3 years ago. I still don't use Windows, and just last week, one of the freelance writers I know had her laptop blown apart by a faulty windows update, so this is still going on. Arguably, it's not just Windows.  My website was just blown apart due to a faulty software update. This releasing bits and pieces and unfinished software really does have to stop.

 On to the Article

The short answer is – probably not. I don’t recommend that anyone keep using Windows 10. It’s a dangerous piece of software if you need your computer every day, and if you don’t use your computer very often, you could find yourself logging in to the message that you need to update, which means you can’t use your computer while it is updating. In fact, the latter is what kept happening to my mom. Every time she logged into her laptop, it told her she needed to update and commenced the update process. This meant that whatever she intended to do, she could not do, and by the time the computer was finished updating, she had accomplished whatever it was via her smartphone. Her laptop was now useless because of Microsoft’s continuous and severely obnoxious updates.
