Well, I figured I'd continue this computer drama story. I got the adapter today around 10 AM. I disconnected the old adapter/splitter, rearranged some wires and turned on the machine. None of the monitors were seen. That was irritating. Turns out that the graphics card in the machine is rather finicky. I did get all 3 monitors seen, except I got 3 exact duplicates of the screen. With the new DSP to HDMI adapter, I got one monitor. Fucking fantastic. Am I surprised? Of course, NOT! This is my luck all day every day. Nothing ever works the way it's supposed to or the way I want it to. I ended up cleaning up the other splitter/adapter and plugging it back in. I figure since it was off the machine, it should be degrimed.

What the next step? At a bare minimum, I need a new graphics card that supports three monitors. If I happen to have spare money beyond that, I should double the RAM. I could also buy a new HP420, but that wouldn't solve the monitor problem either.

At least, I'm no worse off than I was before. I have 2 working monitors. It's just proving to be a challenge to get that 3rd monitor to display correctly.

In other news, I have finally started the audio for Little Bitey 22.
