I guess I might as well update this mega-fight to get two monitors and a splitter because I had a monitor die on me last week. In true Amazon fashion, they have shipped the splitter without the monitors, and it will be here today. The monitors, however, have not even been put in a box. Right. This is incredibly frustrating and happens every time I order from Amazon. The splitter is 100% useless without the monitors. I'd contact customer service, but that's a nightmare and rarely results in anything positive. Sometimes, they even lie so that you'll go away. I had that problem with a weedeater I bought. They would NOT put that thing in a box or slap a label on it. Three days after I ordered it, I contacted them. I really couldn't wait any longer. I ordered the weedeater on a Monday and it was Wednesday, and I needed the equipment FRIDAY! I had also ordered some extra string. The string got to me on Friday after I talked to them. I was also supposed to get a $20 credit, if I contacted them again after the weedeater arrived because the shipping was that slow. Needless to say, I got busy and contacted them again about 2 or 3 weeks later. There was no credit. I, instead, got a $10 credit because the first agent lied.

You would think they would learn that shipping speeds are part of the customer experience, and slow shipping can mean a negative experience regardless of the quality of the thing. Slow shipping makes Amazon look bad, and it makes the company look bad. 99 percent of my reviews should really be - Product is great, but good luck getting it on time. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't like you talking about the shipping speeds in the reviews, so you just don't know if everyone got their stuff on time. That would probably influence 75 percent of all purchases if people were like - Yeah, I ordered this on the 1st and got it on the 7th. they didn't slap it in a box until the 6th. that's not okay. And when 11 AM rolls around today, those monitors are going to be late. When they're not here by tomorrow at 11 AM, they're going to REALLY be late because that's the time I really really really need them. I need time to set them up and test them and organize them before I attend an online meeting. But Amazon just can't seem to get anything in a box on time.
