What's a plot driven book?

A plot driven book or plot author book is when the main focus of the book is going to be about the plot. There are two main things that are going to be included in this style of writing. These two things are going to include the plot twists and the external conflict. This means that the story is going to be about the development of the situation that is happening inside of the book. The third con is that the books are going to have a lot of ideas about society and technology.

What's a character driven book?

A character driven book or a character author book is going to be when the author is going to focus on the inner conflicts of the characters that they have created for the book. Therefore, the author is going to spend a lot of time thinking about all of the different characters, what attitudes or personalities that they are going to have, their personal decisions and how all of these is going to shape the plot of the book. When the plots of a book is character author, then it is going to be known as a literary fiction. This is because the characters are going to have multiple layers that will be exposed as the story is developing.
